Jihanne Dumo

Jihanne completed her undergraduate degree in Psychology at UNBC. Her role as Research Assistant involves coordinating and conducting research activities of PAANBC, including the Environmental Scan of programs and resources that support physical activity in rural, northern contexts. She also assists in the development of the community-university partnership by helping organize Advisory meetings and community engagements such as previous PAANBC workshops and forums.

Jihanne was born in the Philippines and later immigrated with her family to Dawson Creek, Treaty 8 territory on the traditional lands of the Dane-zaa peoples. She moved to Prince George, the traditional unceded territory of the Lheidli T'enneh First Nations, to pursue post-secondary education.
