Gemma Marchant

Gemma is a research assistant working at UNBC under the supervision of Dr. Chelsea Pelletier. She graduated with an Honours in Biomedicine from UNBC, where she researched the effects of cannabis legalization on monthly opioid-related deaths in Canada.

Gemma was born and raised in Prince George, BC, the traditional unceded territory of the Lheidli T’enneh; where she hopes to further her education in the Northern Medical Program.
