Alex Lane
Alex is a master’s student at UNBC researching mental health in wildland firefighters. She completed an undergraduate degree in Honours Psychology at UNBC with a minor in business. Alex brings two years of wildfire communications experience to her role as PAANBC Communications Manager and is excited to help disseminate physical activity in the north.

Alex was born and raised in Hamilton, Ontario on the traditional unceded territory of the Mississauga Nation. She relocated with her family to Prince George, the unceded traditional territory of the Lheidli T’enneh First Nation, and has since made northern BC her home.

Alex couldn’t pick just one favourite way to move. Her favourites include scuba diving, powerlifting, yoga, mountain biking, dog walking, soccer, Crossfit & cross-country skiing, to name a few.
